Iti shri Narada purane sankastanashana Ganesh stotram sampoornam.

:Meaning:

Sri Narada says:

With head bowed, let me unceasingly worship in my mind the god Vinayaka, the son of Gauri,
The refuge of his devotees, for the complete attainment of longevity, amorous desires and wealth.

Firstly, as the one with the twisted trunk. Secondly, as the one with the single tusk.
Thirdly, as the one with the fawn colored eyes. Fourthly, as the one with the elephants mouth.

Fifthly, as the pot-bellied one, Sixthly, as the monstrous one,
Seventhly, as the king of obstacles, Eighthly, as the smoke colored one

Ninethly, as the moon crested one, Tenthly, as the remover of hindrances,
Eleventhly, as the Lord of the hordes, Twelfthly, as the one with the elephants face.

Whosoever repeats these twelve names at dawn, noon and sunset,
for him there is no fear of failure, nay, there is constant good fortune.

He who desires knowledge obtains knowledge.
He who desires wealth obtains wealth.
He who desires sons gets sons.
He who desires salvation obtains the way.

Whosoever mutters the hymn to Ganapati reaches his aim in six months,
and in a year reaches perfection, on this point there is no doubt.

Whosoever makes eight copies of it, and has them distributed to as many brahmans,
he reaches knowledge instantaneously, by the grace of Ganesh.

An architectural wonder, the unique feature of the Binkhambi Ganesh Mandir is that it has been constructed without the use of even a single pillar. In Marathi ‘Binkhambi’ means without pillars. The Ganesh idol at the Binkhambi Ganesh Mandir was discovered while repairing a well. Although the temple has been built in 1882, the idol is believed to be much older.

In 1977AD a devotee of Lord Ganesha gave a 1acre land to the Shree Ganesha Trust to construct the temple.  After seven years, Smt. Kamalamma and Shri C. L. Lakshmanaraju sponsored the cost for the Panchamukhi idol of Lord Ganesha. On 6th Feb, 1984 the Ganesh Pratisthanapa happened under the guidance of Shri Shri Shri Abhinava Vidyateertha Swami of Sharatha Peetha Shrungeri.

Panchamukhi Ganesha one of the very famous Ganesha temples in Bangalore.

The Mandal, formerly known as ‘Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Lalbaug’ was founded in the year 1928, because of a vow (Navas) for construction of the present Lalbaug Market at its existing place. The market place at Peru Chawl was shut down in 1932. Hence, the fishermen and vendors who used to sit in the open place vowed to Lord Ganesh for permanent place for their market. With the consistent efforts & support of the then local Councillor-Late Shri. Kuwarji Jethabhai Shah, Dr. V. B. Korgaonkar, Shri.Nakhawa Kokam Mama, Bhausaheb Shinde, Dr.U.A. Rao and the local residents, the landlord Rajabai Tayyabali agreed to give a plot for construction of a market. As fulfillment of their wish, the fisherman and the traders established the Ganesh Idol on 12.09.1934. The idol was dressed in the customary fashion of fisherman. Since that day onwards, this Lord Ganesh has become popular as it fulfills the wishes of devotees. The Mandal was formed in the era when the freedom struggle was at its peak. Idagunji is a sacred place of Hindu worship in Honnavara taluk of Uttara Kannada (North Canara) district in Karnataka. The famous temple at Idagunji dedicated to Lord Ganapati is the main attraction, receiving more than 1 million devotees per year. Idagunji is about 14 kms southeast of Honnavar.

The two handed Ganapati is holding Modaka and Padma (Lotus) in his hands. According to the legend Lord Ganapati stayed in the place Kunjaranya which is now renowned as Idagunji (Idakuñja). It is said to be a place of penance selected by ancient Rishies (Saints).

Anegudde is a village in the Kundapura taluq of Udupi district, India. The village is also known as ‘Kumbashi’ or ‘Kumbhashi’. Here, Lord Ganapathi is also called, ‘Siddhi Vinakaya’ and ‘Sarva Siddhi Pradaayaka’, the provider of all boons. People come here with all kinds of wishes. The Lord Vinayaka here is said to fulfill all the wishes of his devotees.

Anegudde is considered one of the seven ‘mukti sthalas’ in coastal Karnataka (Parashurama kshetra). here ganapathy is viewed as a form of vishnu

This is an excellent temple. Name of this Ganesh is ‘Dashbhuja Ganapati’. This ‘Laxmi – Ganesh Temple’ is not only ancient but also rare. This temple may have been erected in the period of Peshwa. The deity has been founded on the top of Mountain. The Ganesh idol has been carved in white stone. Such stones are found in Kashmir region. The specialty of the idol is that this is 3 feet high and it has 10 hands.  This majestic idol is on a seat of 2 feet.
